The Delegation of the European Union to Rwanda is holding online trainings on January 27-29 and February 2-4 on EU procedures for local Rwanda Civil Society Organisations.

In the coming weeks, the EU Delegation to Rwanda will launch a combined call for proposals for the European Civil Society Organisations instrument (CSO) and the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).  The purpose of this training and information session is to support local Rwandan CSOs to prepare for this combined call.

Objectives of the meeting

• To increase understanding about the EU Delegation to  Rwanda and how it supports Rwandan civil society
• To improve knowledge among Rwandan local CSOs on EU procedures for calls for proposals
• To support local Rwandan CSOs to strengthen the quality of their project analysis to improve the success of their concept notes

The invitation is open to local Rwandan Civil Society Organisations. The training and information session is limited to 50 organisations, with max. 1 participants per organisation. Priority will be given to organisations who have not received EU funding under a Call for Proposals within the past 5 years.

Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We will respond to you to confirm whether you have been successful in receiving a spot for the workshop, at which point we will issue the agenda.

Note that this training will be given in English. Where needed, specific explanations can also be shared in French/Ikinyarwanda in the second cohort(Feb 2-4). You are encouraged to share this invite widely among your networks.
