Thursday 23rd February, 2017; Dar es Salaam: The Head of Delegation of the European Union to Tanzanian and the East African Community, H.E. Roeland van de Geer and the Italian Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Roberto Mengoni hosted a joint event to commemorate the International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation. The event which was held at the Italian Residence was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the United Republic of Tanzania National Assembly, Hon. Dr. Tulia M. Ackson, who was the guest of honour and gave her speech during the occasion.
"More professional public procurement bodies would help deliver more efficient public procurement markets, greater savings for public buyers, and provide more opportunities for businesses, including SMEs," Head of Delegation of the European Union to Botswana and SADC, Ambassador Alexander Baum said yesterday (23/02/2017) when delivering his key note address at a panel discussion on "Employment Creation Though Public Procurement during the 2017/18 National Budget." The event, organised by the Department of Management in the Faculty of Business at the University of Botswana (UB) featured panellists from UB, private sector and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.

Ce postulat est au centre des processus d'Application des Règlementations Forestières, Gouvernance et Echanges Commerciaux (FLEGT) et de Réduction des Emissions liées à la Déforestation et à la Dégradation des Forêts (REDD +).
