On Tuesday 13 June the World Vision launched its global campaign entitled "It takes the world to end violence against children".
The European Union was pleased to co-sponsor the launch together with the Permanent Mission of Colombia, Uruguay, the Global Partnership to End Violence against Children, the Partnership for Material Newborn and Child Health, and UNICEF.
The event brought together more than 80 participants, including Ambassadors and other representatives of the Permanent Missions in Geneva, United Nations agencies and NGOs.
