La haute représentante/vice-présidente, Mme Federica Mogherini, se rendra en Azerbaïdjan le lundi 29 février et en Arménie le mardi 1er mars, poursuivant ainsi sa tournée des pays du Partenariat oriental, après ses visites en Ukraine et en Géorgie à la fin de l'an passé. En Azerbaïdjan, la HR/VP rencontrera le président, M. Ilham Aliyev, et le ministre des affaires étrangères, M. Elmar Mammadyarov. À Bakou, la HR/VP assistera aussi au conseil ministériel consultatif sur le Corridor gazier sud-européen, aux côtés du vice-président Maroš Šefčovič.

The first Inter-Arab Nuclear Detection and Response Exercise FALCON, aiming at promoting regional approaches in matters of nuclear detection and crisis response was hosted in Abu Dhabi between 23 and 25 February 2016.
The programme includes a seminar at the Legislative Yuan, a workshop with Taiwanese human rights NGOs, and public talks in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung.

Departing Mozambique after a two day visit, Federica Mogherini remarked that the country needs to relaunch a process of national reconciliation to "unleash its huge potential" and "avoid the risk" of a war. The European Union's High Representative explained that "it is indispensable to recreate a reconciliation dynamic, to make the process inclusive, to make it deliver for the population".
