The Council has added 9 persons and 4 entities - including the state-owned Foreign Trade Bank (FTB) - to the lists of those subject to an asset freeze and travel restrictions, transposing part of the new sanctions imposed by UN Security Council resolution 2371 (2017).
Since March 2014, the EU has progressively imposed restrictive measures against Russia. The measures were adopted in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and the deliberate destabilisation of Ukraine.
The European Union Delegation to Egypt offers three traineeships. The aim of these traineeships is to provide students with insights about the daily work of the European Union Delegation to Egypt, in particular, and of the European Union, in general. The programme has been running for several years with many candidates benefited from this rich experience at the Delegation where many current European civil servants started their career path as trainees.
