El coronavirus se ha enseñoreado de nuestras vidas particulares y de nuestra vida colectiva. El mundo entero lleva más de dos meses sumergido en un confinamiento de personas, ciudades y países, atento al ritmo cambiante de las cifras de contagiados, curados y fallecidos. Los medios traducen este baile de números en calidad de la gestión, en países que lo han hecho mejor y países que lo han hecho peor, en un ranking de pueblos y de gobernantes.

The EU Delegation, in agreement with the EU Heads of Mission based in Kabul, considers the ceasefire observed by the parties to the conflict during Eid as an encouraging first step.  It provided the people of Afghanistan with a much-needed but only temporary sense of relief.  The path to a lasting peace is through such confidence-building measures, not further senseless violence.

The EU-Japan strategic partnership is based on longstanding cooperation, shared values and principles such as democracy, the rule of law, human rights, good governance, multilateralism and open market economies.
