Illicit arms flows fuel conflicts and instability, support criminal activities and result in a terrible human toll. According to the UN, 750 000 people die every year of armed violence, much of it caused by illicit arms trafficking.

Former presidential candidate Mykalai Statkevich stands out in particular as an example of the tireless work and committment of many for a democratic Belarus.


The next meeting of the high level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, facilitated by Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, will take place in Brussels on Tuesday, 25 August.

At the meeting the two sides will aim to finalise the implementation arrangements of the agreements on energy, telecoms, establishment of the Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities as well as the Freedom of Movement/Mitrovica Bridge.
