The EU’s external policies, strategies, instruments and missions to support stability, promote human rights and democracy, seek to spread prosperity and support the enforcement of the rule of law and good governance.

The EU relations with Armenia are based on the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which was signed on November 24, 2017. The CEPA will provide for strengthening of cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, in particular in political, economic and sectorial fields.
The EU programme of financial and technical cooperation supports Armenia’s ambitious reform agenda. A significant number of projects are currently being carried out across a wide-range of sectors, regions and cities in Armenia.
