The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the United Nations: In 1945, soon after the end of the Second World War, nations worldwide took the commitment to work together for peace. At around the same time years, European countries chose to follow the same path with the European Union.



The EU Delegation will organise a series of nine online webinars in different policy areas ranging from green recovery to trade to public health, bringing together EU and Japanese experts to discuss the impact, policy response and EU-Japan cooperation regarding COVID-19.


The European Union Delegation, all Heads of Mission of France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland express deep concern regarding recurrent reports of high numbers of incidents in South Sudan where national and international humanitarian aid workers are hindered, threatened, injured, and in some cases killed.

The European Union Delegation to the Philippines is collaborating with government, local government agencies, businesses and media organisations to conduct a  webinar on  the “State of Play: Green Recovery and Sustainable Reporting” on 22 October. The seminar will be broadcast in the EU Delegation Facebook page
