One of the largest humanitarian aid to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic delivered by the European Union to the Republic of Moldova includes personal protective equipment, which will be donated to the health workers from the healthcare facilities in the Transnistrian region. The humanitarian aid includes 121,000 surgical masks, 35,000 N95 respirators, 3,600 protective gowns and 1,600 goggles being part of the first tranche of humanitarian aid provided to the Republic of Moldova by the European Union and the World Health Organization (WHO).
