Since 1978, the Delegation in Cabo Verde has been promoting relations between the European Union and Cabo Verde in the framework of the Cotonou Agreement of 2000 and complemented by the establishment of an EU/Cabo Verde Special Partnership (2007) and a Mobility Partnership (2008) by facilitating a policy framework for enhanced dialogue and dialogue.

In its commitment to support justice sector reform in the Philippines, the European Union (EU) through the Governance in Justice (GoJust) Programme is providing a PhP 5.6 M worth bus unit to the Quezon City Jail.
