The European Union called on Kosovo to revoke its decision to increase import tax on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a move described by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini’s Spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic as a violation of Kosovo’s obligations.

The Italian Agency for Development Cooperationop is launching a call for proposals in the frame of the EU funded action “Resilience and Social Cohesion Programme”, which aims at identifying priority interventions focusing on the rehabilitation and improvement of municipal infrastructure and services. The initiative has been launched in order to contribute to the response to the Syrian Crisis, thus all the proposed projects must have an impact on local communities and Syrian refugees.

Depuis l’adoption de la résolution 1325 sur femmes, paix et sécurité par le Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies, le rôle de femmes dans la construction de la paix et la sécurité est de plus en plus mis en avant. Il est important de garantir l’inclusion et la participation des femmes à pied d’égalité dans les processus de la paix pour assurer une meilleure durabilité des résultats. L’union européenne à travers ses institutions, y inclut les missions civiles telles qu’EUCAP Sahel Mali, est pleinement engagée dans la mise en œuvre de la résolution 1325.

The European Union (EU) joins forces with several Egyptian ministries to provide unique collaboration to transform the Egyptian Museum in downtown Cairo. Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar Nasr, and the EU Ambassador to Egypt Ivan Surkoš, presented the EU-funded project "Transforming the Egyptian Museum of Cairo", in a press conference held in the Garden of the Egyptian Museum of Cairo (EMC), on 16 June 2019.
