The European Union called on Kosovo to revoke its decision to increase import tax on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a move described by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini’s Spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic as a violation of Kosovo’s obligations.

Projects or programs financed from the European Development Fund are subject to international tender regulations with transparent and rigorous procedures securing fair competition. As a matter of policy, the European Union never asks for fees or payments prior to the evaluation of a tender

The Delegation of the European Union in Sudan coordinates with European Union's resident member states to achieve a common and cohesive policy on Sudan.

To realize this policy, the European Union and EU resident Embassies in close contact with many Sudanese political actors including government officials, political parties, youth, civil society, women leaders, human rights defenders, victims of violations, IDPs and ordinary Sudanese people and citizens.

Five young poets were recognised this year for their award-winning poetry submissions as part of the EU funded Silsiladda Nabadda poetry competition. The announcement was made at the Silsiladda Nabadda award ceremony held in Mogadishu. In attendance were representatives from the government and the European Union as well as the NGO and international community. The recipients of the awards as well as the shortlisted candidates presented their poems during the event.

France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the High Representative express their deep concern over Iran's announcements and actions in contradiction with its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The IAEA has confirmed in its extraordinary report of 8 September that advanced centrifuges have been installed or are being installed in Natanz. France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the High Representative are deeply concerned by these activities.
