Bangui, le 20 Juin 2018

Excellence, Monsieur le Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat ;

The proposed project seeks to increase and deepen the engagement of Civil Society Organisations active in human rights in Botswana, particularly minority rights, with the overall objective of reducing discrimination against and lack of recognition of members of minority tribes in Botswana.

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to economic growth promotion and poverty reduction, through the strengthening of the role of Non State Actors in Botswana.

The CataPampa project aims to contribute to the socioeconomic inclusion of collectors and waste pickers who are in a situation of vulnerability and poverty. It also stimulates their activities in networks by strengthening collectors of recyclable materials organisations.

The project has a dual appeal: defending democracy and protecting the rights of riparian, quilombola, fisher and indigenous communities, and the limits that may contain the unilateral advance of oil exploration and its consequent and constant violations of these same rights.
