The developments in Libya, counter terrorism initiatives, and the EU's partnership with Eastern countries were discussed when EU foreign Ministers held their last meeting of 2015 in Brussels on Monday 14 December. The meeting was chaired by EU High Representative Federica Mogherini. EU-Turkey relations were discussed as Ministers had a working lunch with their Turkish counterpart.

Suite aux attaques contre des camps militaires vendredi dernier, des actions des forces de sécurité ont eu lieu ce week-end, entraînant la mort de nombreuses personnes, y compris par des  exécutions sommaires.  Toute la clarté doit être faite sur toutes ces attaques graves afin que leurs responsables puissent être identifiés et rendent compte de leurs actes.

Following the attacks on military bases last Friday, the security forces carried out operations this weekend which killed many people, including in summary executions. 

All these severe attacks must be thoroughly investigated so that the perpetrators can be identified and held to account.

The European Union extends its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of yesterday's attack in Kabul. The attack on civilians claimed the lives of several victims, including two Spanish citizens.

The EU stands in solidarity with the Spanish and Afghan authorities and, together with the Afghan people, will continue in its fight against terrorism and for a peaceful and prosperous future of the country and its citizens.

The European Union has played a key role in brokering today's historic agreement in Paris, where 195 countries adopted the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal. The ambitious and balanced agreement, the first major multilateral deal of the 21st century, sets out a global action plan to put the world on track to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global warming to well below 2°C.

Morocco and the European Union have a broad-based and strong partnership anchored within the framework of the country's Advanced Status.
 
The EU has taken note of the judgment of the General Court of the European Union regarding the Council's Decision on the agriculture agreement between the EU and Morocco.
 
The European Institutions are closely examining this judgment in order to determine the various options, in particular regarding preparatory work for an appeal.
