The Energy Sector Policy Support Programme aims to assist Egypt in implementing its far-reaching programme of energy reforms and to foster implementation of its strategic energy partnership with the EU to improve energy security and sustainable development

The aim of this programme is to support the implementation of the National Transport Policy through the introduction of reforms in the Egyptian transport sector.

The overall objective of the programme is to support and further improve the mutually beneficial Information Society cooperation between the EU and Southern Mediterranean countries.

The general objective of the program is to assist the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the implementation and execution of key policy reforms to help Egypt further integrate into the global and regional economy.

The overall objective of this project is to support the Government of Egypt's efforts to improve good governance practices in public administration. Specifically, the project intends to support the establishment of a comprehensive approach towards the promotion of transparency as well as technical support to Law enforcement agencies combating corruption.

The overall objective of the SAAP IV is to support the Egyptian Government in implementing the EU-Egypt ENP Action Plan (AP) and the Association Agreement (AA).

The objective of this project is to improve national capacities in public policy formulation, public administrations and services, and training and advocacy capacities for decentralisation.

EU Contribution: € 17,000,000.00 (100% of total).

Description: The objective of this programme is to increase the capacity of Egyptian institutions and civil society organisations to implement international conventions related to human rights.
