The European Union Delegation in Rome, together with the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Holy See, the Sovereign Order of Malta, the Italian Society of International Organization (SIOI) and the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, have organized the photographic exhibition "The Devil within us", with the pictures of the Czech photographer Jan Sibik. 

The European Union Film Festival jointly organised by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic and the Embassies of the EU Member States will open its doors on 20 to 24 April 2016 at the Ala-Too cinema.

The High-Representative/Vice-President of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini will travel to Lampedusa on Friday 15 April,   where she will board the vessel ITS Cavour. This is the first visit of the HRVP Mogherini to a EUNAVFOR MED flagship. She will be briefed on the situation regarding the operation, its work and achievements. EUNAVFOR MED Operation Sophia was launched on 22 June 2015 with the objective to fight and disrupt the business model of smugglers and traffickers.

It is important that a framework for a peaceful and negotiated political solution be agreed upon as soon as possible.

La haute représentante/vice-présidente de l’Union pour les affaires étrangères et la politique de sécurité, Mme Federica Mogherini, se rendra à Lampedusa le vendredi 15 avril et montera à bord du navire ITS Cavour. Ce sera sa première visite sur un navire amiral de l'EUNAVFOR MED. Elle sera informée de l’état d’avancement de l’opération, de son fonctionnement et de ses résultats. L'EUNAVFOR MED opération Sophia a été lancée le 22 juin 2015 avec pour objectif de combattre et de démanteler le modèle économique des trafiquants et des passeurs.

The Department of Education is proud to announce the official launching of the Human Resources Development Programme Phase 2 (HRDP2).HRDP2 is a Government of Papua New Guinea Department of Education programme aimed at increasing access to quality lower secondary vocational education and training. The programme is funded by the European Union to the tune of EUR 26 million (approximately PGK 85 million). It will be implemented until mid-2019.
