The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and the European Commission have today adopted a Joint Communication proposing a forward- looking EU strategy for Syria.

On International Women's Day, the European Commission published a call for proposals on "Women & Sustainable Energy" making €20 million available for grants to implement activities promoting women's entrepreneurship in the sustainable energy sector in developing countries.

EU Intervention: Interactive Dialogue with the Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic

The European Commission invites comments from all interested parties on commitments submitted by Gazprom to address the Commission's competition concerns as regards gas markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The commitments will enable cross-border gas flows at competitive prices.

Європейська Комісія запрошує усі зацікавлені сторони надати коментарі щодо зобов’язань «Газпрому» стосовно газових ринків Центрально-Східної Європи. Вони були висловлені у відповідь на офіційне повідомлення Єврокомісії про претензії. Ці зобов’язання забезпечать транскордонне транспортування газу за ринковими цінами.


The Southern Federal University will host on 15-16 March 2017 in Rostov-on-Don a series of events dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome that laid the foundations for today's European Union. Among others, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Russia on 15 March 2017 it organizes a public debate “60 years of the Treaty of Rome: European integration and European memory”.
