As part of the implementation of the new EU Gender Action Plan (GAPIII), the EU Delegation conducted the consultation process on priorities for strengthening gender equality and women empowerment in Montenegro. The results of the consultation contributed to the update of the EU Delegation’s gender strategy towards a more systematic inclusion of gender equality and related rights in its programming as well as in the political dialogue.

The European Union Delegation to South Sudan on Thursday morning handed over Crop and Livestock Production Guides to the government of South Sudan.

Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan – on November 24-26, 2021 Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA) holds a technical assistance in a form of a meeting on analysis of the current customs legislation in transit area and gathers experts from the EU member states and Kazakh national experts in development of national transit declaration/control system.

Dear friends, 

First of all, warm thanks to the Swedish Chairperson-in-Office, Minister [for Foreign Affairs of Sweden] Ann Linde, for her leadership under the extraordinarily difficult circumstances that we are facing. And my best wishes to the incoming Polish Chairmanship-in Office. 

Let me start my intervention by stressing that the European Union supports strongly the OSCE and it is part of our unconditional commitment to promote multilateralism, based on international law.  

The Council adopted today a set of decisions establishing four assistance measures under the European Peace Facility (EPF) in support of Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and the Republic of Mali.

Following a review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries, special administrative regions and other entities and territorial authorities for which travel restrictions should be lifted. In particular Jordan and Namibia were removed from the list.
