The Commission would like to gather the views of the main ‘users’ of the common visa policy: individuals, interest groups, advocacy groups, think tanks and professional organisations. We want to hear from as broad a range of users as possible, as it is important to get views and input from all stakeholders. We're particularly interested in learning about the experience of travellers who have applied for a Schengen visa in the past 5 years.

At the time when cyberattacks are increasing and cybersecurity has become an essential issue for states’ security, the French Institute for Higher Defence Studies (IHEDN) organised a training course dedicated to the challenges of European cybersecurity, which took place in Brussels from 22 to 24 November 2017, under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).

Ce 18 décembre 2017, a eu lieu au Ministère de l'Economie, des Finances et du Développement, la cérémonie de signature des lettres d'accord entre le Gouvernement Burkinabè et la Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD), en présence des représentants de l'UE et de la JICA (coopération japonaise), qui cofinancent le projet, visant la réhabilitation de la route communautaire "CU2a" section Gounghin-Fada N'Gourma-Pièga-Frontière du Niger.

The EU's Political and Security Committee has today appointed Erik Høeg, a Danish diplomat, as new Head of the European Union monitoring mission in Georgia, EUMM Georgia. Erik Høeg succeeds Kęstutis Jankauskas (of Lithuanian nationality) who held the post for more than two and a half years. Erik Høeg is currently serving as Deputy Head of EUMM and has been Acting Head of mission since 1 September 2017.
