Díli, 14 de maio de 2021 - A União Europeia disponibilizou 1 milhão de euros (mais de 1,2 milhões de dólares) de financiamento em ajuda humanitária em resposta ao rápido aumento do número de casos de coronavírus (COVID-19) em Timor-Leste nos últimos meses. A ajuda concentrar-se-á no aumento da capacidade de resposta do país nas áreas mais afectadas, incluindo a capital Díli, onde a maioria dos casos foram registados até à data.
Dili, 14 May 2021 – The European Union is allocating €1 million (over USD 1.2 million) in humanitarian aid funding to respond to the rapid increase in coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Timor-Leste in recent months. The aid will focus on increasing the country’s response capacity in the most affected areas, including the capital Dili where most cases have been registered so far.
