The second edition of the ESDC booklet WHAT WE ARE – WHAT WE DO has been released. The EU Delegation to Malaysia organized a networking event yesterday evening with Malaysian higher education institutions and students to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Erasmus+ program.
The event brought together over a hundred key representatives of institutions for higher education in Malaysia, EU member States representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and most important our students participating in the exchange programme.
The objective of this event is t...o informed on opportunities for international educational exchanges between the EU members State and Malaysia.
Since 2004, more than 650 Malaysian (students and academics) have taken advantage of the EU-funded international mobility programmes (Erasmus). in 2016 alone, a total of 161 Malaysian students and academics were exchanged with EU, while 79 European students and academic staff came to Malaysia.
On 17 February 2017, His Majesty King Mswati III, the King of Swaziland, commissioned newly-constructed health facilities in the Kingdom funded by the European Union in collaboration with the World Bank. The event was held at Buhleni royal palace in the north of Swaziland. The King was accompanied by EU Ambassador to Swaziland, Nicola Bellomo.

• We all agree that a rules-based multilateral trading system is vital to ensure a stable and predictable framework for world trade. At a time when protectionist tendencies around the world are putting strain on this system, it is of utmost importance to strengthen the WTO. The next opportunity will come at the end of the year in Buenos Aires and we should seize it.
