The Government, partners, European Union, and United Nations recommit to ending violence against women and girls by reviewing progress and looking at accelerating the implementation of the Spotlight Initiative in the context of recovery from COVID-19 and recent floods

No country, no region in the world has been spared from the impact of COVID-19. The virus is exacerbating existing inequalities and has a disproportionate effect on refugees, internally displaced persons, vulnerable migrants and stateless persons. We must all redouble our efforts. As vaccination campaigns are underway in the EU, the EU is working to ensure universal access to COVID-19 vaccines, in particular through the COVAX Facility.

The EU Twinning Project entitled “Establishing a regulatory framework, supporting the implementation of the national strategy and strengthening institutional capacities in the field of waste management”, IL 17 ENI EN 01 19 in Jerusalem is seeking to recruit.

В период с 14 июня по 9 июля 2021 года Программа содействия управлению границами в Центральной Азии и Афганистане (БОМКА) начинает реализацию 10-ой фазы с проведения совместных встреч с национальными партнерами программы. В частности, команда программы встречается с представителями советов безопасности, министерств иностранных дел, таможенных и пограничных служб, миграционных агентств и агентств местного развития, а также других ведомств, работающих в области управления границами в Кыргызстане, Казахстане, Таджикистане, Туркменистане, Узбекистане и Афганистане.


Between June 14 – July 9, 2021 Border Management Programme in Central Asia and Afghanistan (BOMCA), 10th phase, held inception meetings with the national counterparts of the Programme. Specifically, the Programme team met representatives of Security Councils, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Customs and Border Agencies, Law enforcement and Migration Agencies, Local Development Agencies and other related to border management institutions in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

Following a review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries, special administrative regions and other entities and territorial authorities for which travel restrictions should be lifted. As stipulated in the Council recommendation, this list will continue to be reviewed every two weeks and, as the case may be, updated.
