The European Union announces a call for Ukrainian small cities and amalgamated hromadas through its Mayors for Economic Growth initiative (M4EG). The aim of the call is to support those Ukrainian municipal authorities that want to improve their local business environment and stimulate business development. Small cities and hromadas will be developing their capacities and technical skills while working together with business sector and civil society.

Thimphu, April 11, 2017 | The European Union (EU) today signed an agreement with the World Bank to join the Public Financial Management Multi Donor Fund (PFM-MDF) and to contribute Euro 3 million over the next three years.

The European Union (EU) Director-General (DG) for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Christian Danielsson and Minister of International Cooperation and Investment of Egypt, Sahar Nasr signed today a Financing Agreement that addresses the improvement of the situation of women in Egypt. Today's signature launches the 'Advancing Women’s Rights in Egypt' Programme, with an EU grant of EUR 10 million.
