A quelques jours du premier tour de l’élection présidentielle en Côte d’Ivoire, l’Union européenne déplore les graves violences de ces derniers jours et exprime son inquiétude devant le manque de consensus entourant le processus électoral.

Dans l’esprit de sa Déclaration du 18 septembre dernier, l’Union européenne appelle une nouvelle fois les acteurs politiques à accélérer le dialogue sur les points de désaccord, et incite les différentes formations politiques et militantes à rejeter explicitement tout recours à la violence et à la menace. 

While Serbia faces increasing numbers of new daily cases of COVID-19 and more people are hospitalised, the European Union continues to honour its commitment to stand by the country and its people. The EU funds have now secured the employment of about 200 medical and administrative staff as well as new equipment to effectively help people in need across Serbia.

The European Union congratulates Luis Arce on his election as President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia in the general elections held on 18 October. It also pays tribute to the people of Bolivia who have shown a strong commitment to electoral democracy by turning out in high numbers despite the COVID-related challenges and peacefully exercising their democratic rights.

Marking UN 75th Anniversary



The Council endorses the objectives of the EU biodiversity strategy for 2030 and the nature protection and restoration targets contained therein, which aim at setting biodiversity on the path to recovery.
