On 17 September 2020, at the Rooms Hotel in Tbilisi, the EU launched a Twinning project “Strengthening Blood Safety System in Georgia” with the total budget of the project being 1.3 million EUR.

This project aims at improving the effectiveness, transparency and accountability of the Lebanese security system to fulfil its role in line with the rule of law.

In a country suffering from multiple crises unprecedented in magnitude the European Union, through UNHCR, provides support to expand the capacity of the Lebanese national health care system to respond to the increased demand on hospital care due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Beirut blast.

The round table is held within the framework of project “Strengthening civil control in places of detention in Russia”, which is implemented by the human rights organization “Man and Law” together with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (Warsaw) and with the support of the EU. Among speakers are the project team and representatives of public supervisory committees who observed the situation with the right to access to court in their regions.
