The Directorate-General for Trade in the European Commission helps to develop and implement EU trade policy. Along with the EU's Trade Commissioner, we aim to shape a trade environment that is good for people and for business.

EU relations and cooperation with Grenada are carried out both on bilateral and regional basis, the latter within the framework of the on-going EU-CELAC and EU-CARIFORUM dialogues.

The Foreign Affairs Council which took place in Brussels on 23 May has extended project EUNAVFOR MED Operation Sophia. Its purpose is to disrupt the business model of human smugglers and trafficking networks and to contribute to broader security in support of the legitimate Libyan authorities.

EUNIC cluster in Qatar - First in GCC

With a view of reinforcing and expanding cultural ties between European Union Member States represented in Qatar and the State of Qatar, the embassies of : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, as well as the British Council and the French Institute, have decided to join efforts in the field of culture by signing the founding charter of a European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) cluster in Qatar.
