The 8th Papua New Guinea Human Rights Film Festival opened on 13 October in the nation's capital Port Moresby at the Moresby Arts Theatre. The Opening Night kicked off three days of screening showing 17 films covering diverse topics from the right to asylum, development and human rights, the right to vote, freedom of expression, girls rights, and business and human rights. Organised by the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, European Union (EU), Transparency International PNG, and the University of Goroka Centre for Social and Creative Media the event is a highlight of the human rights event calendar in Papua New Guinea.

CADAP national partners from the Ministries of Interior, Ministries of Health and Ministries of Foreign Affairs representing five Central Asian countries took part in the EU-Central Asia Dialogue on Drugs at the Council of the European Union in Brussels.

Национальные партнеры программы CADAP из Министерств внутренних дел, Министерств здравоохранения и Министерств иностранных дел из стран Центральной Азии приняли участие в Диалоге ЕС – Центральная Азия по вопросам борьбы с наркотиками в Совете Европейского Союза в Брюсселе.
