29-31 мая 2017 г., Ашхабад посетила группа европейских экспертов, которые провели семинар для представителей правоохранительных ведомств Туркменистана по правоохранительной этике, профессиональному поведению и борьбе с коррупцией.

On May 29-31, 2017, a group of European experts held in Ashgabat a workshop for Turkmenistan’s law enforcement agencies on ethics, professional conduct and the fight against corruption.

Representatives of Turkmenistan Ministries, schools, and main stakeholders of the vocational education and training sector participated in a workshop facilitated by the European Training Foundation (ETF) in Ashgabat on 17 May 2017.

Ambassador Jessen and Foreign Secretary Cayetano met today to discuss EU-Philippines relations: "to have an open, friendly but honest dialogue on ensuring long historical relations are maintained and strengthened". In good Filipino tradition this was followed by lunch where Ambassadors of Germany, Hungary, Spain and Sweden participated as well as EU heads of cooperation and trade sections. With special thanks to Deputy Speaker Pia Cayetano for bringing education and delicious cake to the table.

The aim of the initiative is to strengthen governance systems and inclusion of displaced people in decision-making, while also providing access to services, housing and livelihood opportunities

The first enhanced High Level Political Dialogue between Tuvalu and the European Union under the Cotonou Agreement was held in Funafuti on 31 of May. The meeting was chaired on Tuvalu side by the Prime Minister Honourable Enele Sosene Sopoaga, and H.E. Andrew Jacobs, Ambassador to Tuvalu and Head of Delegation of the European Union for the Pacific. Cabinet Ministers, a Member of Parliament and senior Government officials were present at the Dialogue. The Parties reviewed bilateral relations between Tuvalu and the European Union and discussed possibilities to intensify trade relations and strengthen co-operation in regional and international matters of common concern.
