Déclaration du porte-parole sur la libération des journalistes Can Dündar et Erdem Gül en Turquie 26/02/2016
Suite à une décision de la Cour constitutionnelle turque, les journalistes Can Dündar et Erdem Gül ont été libérés après 92 jours de détention.
La cour a jugé que leur arrestation avait enfreint la constitution car elle s'était produite en violation de leurs droits individuels, ainsi que du droit à la liberté de la presse et à la liberté d'expression.
The programme includes a seminar at the Legislative Yuan, a workshop with Taiwanese human rights NGOs, and public talks in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung.
High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini will travel to Azerbaijan on Monday 29 February and Armenia on Tuesday 1 March, continuing her tour of the Eastern Partnership countries following visits to Ukraine and Georgia at the end of last year. In Azerbaijan, the HR/VP will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. Whilst in Baku, the HR/VP will also attend the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial alongside Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič. She will also meet representatives of civil society.
La haute représentante/vice-présidente, Mme Federica Mogherini, se rendra en Azerbaïdjan le lundi 29 février et en Arménie le mardi 1er mars, poursuivant ainsi sa tournée des pays du Partenariat oriental, après ses visites en Ukraine et en Géorgie à la fin de l'an passé. En Azerbaïdjan, la HR/VP rencontrera le président, M. Ilham Aliyev, et le ministre des affaires étrangères, M. Elmar Mammadyarov. À Bakou, la HR/VP assistera aussi au conseil ministériel consultatif sur le Corridor gazier sud-européen, aux côtés du vice-président Maroš Šefčovič.
