The European Union called on Kosovo to revoke its decision to increase import tax on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a move described by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini’s Spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic as a violation of Kosovo’s obligations.

On the 18th and 19th July, the Chairman of the European Union Military Committee (EUMC), General Claudio Graziano, payed an official visit to Slovakia where he was warmly welcomed by the Slovak Chief of Defence, General Daniel Zmeko.

Israeli authorities have proceeded with the demolition of 10 Palestinian buildings, containing some 70 apartments, in Wadi al Hummus, part of Sur Baher neighbourhood in occupied East Jerusalem. The majority of the buildings are located in Area A and B of the West Bank where, according to the Oslo Accords, all civil issues are under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.
