The EU’s external policies, strategies, instruments and missions to support stability, promote human rights and democracy, seek to spread prosperity and support the enforcement of the rule of law and good governance.

EU-Belarus Agreements of Visa Facilitation and Readmission, in force from 1 July 2020, represent an important milestone in the EU-Belarus relations. It will contribute to steady development of economic, humanitarian, cultural, scientific and other ties.

Barbados has had a formal relationship with the European Union (then the European Economic Community) since July 1976 when a Delegation office was first established.

The co-operation between the Delegation of the European Union and the governments of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean is centred on the common objective of reducing poverty, achieving sustainable development, and gradually integrating the countries into the world economy.
