L'Union européenne exprime ses plus sincères condoléances aux familles des victimes, aux autorités nationales ainsi qu'au peuple Burkinabé.

Elle salue l'engagement ferme du gouvernement et réaffirme son plein soutien dans la lutte contre l'insécurité et le terrorisme.

EU Delegation participates in Sierra Leone’s first Girls Empowerment Football Festival and Exhibition

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Cameroon, African Union (AU), PowerPlay Africa and the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) have jointly launched the “Together against the marriage of young girls” campaign towards abandoning child marriages on the continent.

As part of this campaign, PowerPlay Africa held Sierra Leone’s first Girls Empowerment Football Festival and Exhibition on 17 December 2016 at the SLFA headquarters in Freetown. The Delegation of the European Union paritciated in the event with a stand in support of girl's empowerment and prevention of child marriage.

The European Union and Member States –organised with the support of Lao Cycling Association the 2nd Cycling for Climate in Vientiane with more than 400 cyclists including officials, diplomats as well as Vientiane citizens taking part in this social ride to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Paris Agreement and the achievements reached since it was adopted on 12 December 2015 at the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Paris.

Le programme régional Med Culture, financé par l’UE, organise à Tunis, deux activités régionales de renforcement de capacités avec la participation des acteurs culturels de 8 pays du sud de la Méditerranée.
