On 1 December, the Civilian Operations Commander Francisco Esteban Perez concluded a three-day visit to Kosovo, which included meetings with Prime Minister Kurti, Minister of Internal Affairs Sveçla, General Director of the Kosovo Police Mehmeti, Acting Director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine Goga, as well as representatives of the international community, the Kosovo justice system and the civil society. During the visit, the Civilian Operations Commander also met with EULEX staff, who briefed him about the Mission’s ongoing activities.

The Palestinian Ministry of Finance and the KfW German Development Bank signed today a Financing Agreement funded by the European Union to improve the  availability and reliability of water supply services in Gaza City and Jabalia. The signing ceremony was attended by the Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh and the EU Representative Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff.

As part of the implementation of the new EU Gender Action Plan (GAPIII), the EU Delegation conducted the consultation process on priorities for strengthening gender equality and women empowerment in Montenegro. The results of the consultation contributed to the update of the EU Delegation’s gender strategy towards a more systematic inclusion of gender equality and related rights in its programming as well as in the political dialogue.

The European Union Delegation to South Sudan on Thursday morning handed over Crop and Livestock Production Guides to the government of South Sudan.

Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan – on November 24-26, 2021 Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA) holds a technical assistance in a form of a meeting on analysis of the current customs legislation in transit area and gathers experts from the EU member states and Kazakh national experts in development of national transit declaration/control system.
