Everyone is impressed by Khowla Mohamed Abdow. She’s competent, helpful and hardworking. At 25 years old, she’s the coordinator of Baidoa’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre in South West Somalia, a Ministry of Justice facility supported by UNDP, and funded by the European Union, where local people can come for help solving arguments ranging from land theft to domestic abuse.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the EU Delegation in the Tajikistan and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) are launching a procedure to recruit a new local coordinator for the NEO in Tajikistan.

Manila, 15 October 2021 – The European Union is allocating €800,000 (over PHP 47 million) in humanitarian aid funding to respond to the rapid increase in coronavirus cases in the Philippines in recent months. The aid will benefit 70,000 people of the conflict-affected provinces in Mindandao.  

On 13 October 2021 the European Union (EU) and Solomon Islands (SI) held their eighth Political Dialogue under article 8 of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) - EU Partnership (Cotonou) Agreement. The dialogue took place virtually and allowed the EU and Solomon Islands to take stock of achievements in the partnership since the last Political Dialogue meeting, held in Honiara on October 2019.
