Ambassador Jean-Michel Dumond, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Sudan (EU) and Khaled El Mekwad, Representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), have signed an agreement to implement a project to foster employment opportunities and economic growth in Sudan.

In the framework of the EU Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation Centre of Excellence Initiative (CBRN CoE), the EU CBRN CoE Project 47 delivered a Legal Workshop in Brunei Darussalam from 14 to 15 March 2017.

EU Ambassador Daniela Tramacere today presented her letters of accreditation to CARICOM Secretary General,  Ambassador Irwin the CARICOM Secretariat in Georgetown Guyana. Ambassador Tramacere will also be accredited to CARIFORUM.
The Ambassador, who is based in Barbados has already completed accreditation to all of the other countries and institutions which are covered by the Barbados Delegation. These are Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the OECS Secretariat.

As part of the activities carried out by the European Union in Uruguay to promote gender equality, a panel to discuss "Strengthening the Voice and Political Participation of Women" was set up on March 9 at the EU Delegation.
