Formation d’apprentissage régional sur les entreprises et les droits de l’Homme

Le Conseil national des droits de l’Homme (CNDH), a organisé du 3 au 5 juillet, en partenariat avec l’Institut Danois des droits de l’Homme(DIHR) et le Réseau africain des institutions nationales des droits de l’Homme (RINADH), une formation d’apprentissage régional sur les entreprises et les droits de l’Homme avec l’appui de l’Union européenne. La formation a eu lieu à l’Institut national de formation aux droits de l’Homme (INFDH) à Rabat.

President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker represented the EU at the G20 summit hosted by Germany, on 7-8 July. They joined leaders from 19 leading industrial and emerging economies. Main topics included the economy, trade, counter-terrorism, migration, climate and development.


Дональд Туск, Председатель Европейского Совета, и Жан-Клод Юнкер, Председатель Европейской Комиссии, представляли Европейский Союз на саммите "Большой двадцатки", который прошел в Германии 7–8 июля. Вместе с лидерами 19 ведущих промышленно развитых стран и стран с развивающейся экономикой они обсудили актуальные вопросы, в том числе экономику, торговлю, противодействие терроризму, миграцию, изменение климата и развитие.


Today is a historical day for Eritrea. Asmara is officially a UNESCO World Heritage site. The inscription took place today 08 July 2017 during the 41st World Heritage Committee Session in Poland.
The Delegation of the European Union in Eritrea congratulates the State of Eritrea, the city of Asmara and Asmara Heritage Project for this achievement.
We are pleased to partner with the Asmara Heritage Project in the preservation of this unique city.

EU event brings Arab and Haredi business communities together on 6 July in Beit Shemesh.

The purpose of this event was to create a forum for these two minority communities in Israel facing quite similar challenges in integrating into the mainstream economy, to exchange about their experiences in doing business.


אירוע בחסות האיחוד האירופי הפגיש בין הקהילות העסקיות של המגזר הערבי והמגזר החרדי ב-6 ביולי בבית שמש

מטרתו של אירוע זה היה ליצור פורום לשתי קהילות המיעוטים בישראל, העומדות בפני אתגרים דומים למדי באשר להשתלבותן בכלכלה הישראלית, כדי שבני שתי הקהילות יוכלו להחליף חוויות באשר לניסיונם בעולם העסקים.


The textile sector is critical for the Indian economy, as it represents 14% of industrial production, 4% of GDP and 17% of export earnings. However, this sector has a highly negative environmental impact, using toxic chemicals and processes and causing the degradation and depletion of natural resources, which lead to pollution and health problems. In addition, there is a lack of support, resources and incentives in the textile industry, especially for the SMEs to implement eco-friendly solutions to address these issues.

The action will enhance the quality, access and governance of undergraduate education in India through the promotion of Indo-EU Higher Education partnerships and collaborations. It facilitates the exchange of best practices, experience and knowledge in undergraduate teaching and learning. Furthermore, it supports the governance and management of student learning through strengthening student participation and promotes the use of open source and technology-enhanced educational resources in Indian universities.

India is among the countries with the highest female infant mortality rate in the world. Both female feticide, through sex determined sex selective abortions, and female infanticide, where the girl child is killed soon after birth, are shockingly common. The impact of female feticide and infanticide can be seen in the skewed Child Sex Ratio (917 girls to 1 000 boys) and increasing crimes against women in the backdrop of fewer available females in a society driven by patriarchal values, including trafficking of girls for forced marriage or sexual exploitation.
