The environmental sustainability of cocoa production is at the heart of the second online roundtable discussion organised 14 May 2021 in Accra, within the framework of the National Dialogue on Sustainable Cocoa. The National Dialogue on Sustainable Cocoa in Ghana was launched in March 2021 by the Delegation of the European Union to Ghana and COCOBOD. The first two online events attracted more than 150 participants each, confirming the high interest around sustainability matters in Ghana.
The United Nations have confirmed that military forces are impeding humanitarian access to parts of Tigray. The EU has repeatedly called for full humanitarian access to all areas, as well as for the immediate withdrawal of Eritrean troops.
