Несмотря на уже достигнутые значимые, но не равномерные успехи в реализации прав женщин и девочек, ни одна страна мира не достигнет гендерного равенства и расширения прав и возможностей всех женщин и девочек к 2030 году. К тому же женщины и девочки особенно страдают от медицинских и социально-экономических последствий кризиса, вызванного COVID-19.

Moreover, the health and socio-economic consequences of the COVID-19 crisis are disproportionately affecting women and girls.
