At the beginning of March this year, the European Union Delegation to Uganda set out to find a talented and creative Ugandan illustrator to participate in the production of a youth animation book series. That journey came to a fruitful conclusion yesterday at the official celebrations to mark Europe Day in the Republic of Uganda.

OTTAWA – To mark the 40 th anniversary of the Framework Agreement for commercial and economic cooperation between the European Communities and Canada and of its presence in Canada, the European Union Delegation to Canada is hosting The European Union and Canada as Strategic Partners: Towards a New Generation Relationship, a conference aimed at hi ghlighting their strategic relations.

Innovation was the prized guest at a Europe Day event in Canberra on 9 May, with the spotlight on EU-Australian Partnerships in innovation. These included space, research and science among the many others that Australia and the EU collaborate on.

On 6 April, Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič participated in the conference "Nord Stream II – Energy Union at the crossroads" at the European Parliament.
