أصدر ممثل الاتحاد الأوروبي ورؤساء بعثات الاتحاد الأوروبي في القدس ورام الله البيان التالي:

تعرب بِعثات دول الاتحاد الأوروبي في القدس ورام الله عن قلقها البالغ حيال قيام السلطات الإسرائيلية في الرابع من شباط الجاري بهدم الصفين الثالث والرابع الابتدائي، والذين تم تمويل بناؤهما من خلال جهات مانحة وكانا يخدمان 26 طالب فلسطيني من أطفال أبو نوار وهو تجمع بدوي وتجمع للاجئين يقع في المنطقة (ج) في ضواحي مدينة القدس. لقد تم تمويل بناء الصفين من قبل الاتحاد الأوروبي والدول الأعضاء في الاتحاد الأوروبي.

Tuesday 06 February, 2018; Dar es Salaam: The Head of Delegation of the European Union to Tanzanian and the East African Community, H.E. Roeland van de Geer and the Deputy Country Director, Plan International Tanzania Ms. Gwynneth Wong hosted a joint event to commemorate the International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation.

Female Genital Mutilation, or FGM, horrifically violates the human rights, dignity and physical integrity of girls and women. In a Joint Statement on the occasion of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, EU leaders condemn the ongoing practice of FGM in Europe and around the world, and outline the EU's ongoing actions and commitment to eradicate the practice.
