Les relations entre l'Union européenne (UE) et la République de Guinée ont plus de 40 ans d'ancienneté. Aujourd’hui, le cadre de ces relations est défini par l’accord de Cotonou de juin 2000. Elles concernent les domaines politiques et économiques, le commerce, la coopération au développement, le dialogue avec la société civile et l’aide humanitaire.

La tenue d'élections législatives inclusives et pacifiques le 28 septembre 2013 a permis la reprise totale de la coopération au développement entre l'UE et la Guinée.
