The Council adopted today a set of decisions establishing four assistance measures under the European Peace Facility (EPF) in support of Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and the Republic of Mali.

Following a review under the recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU, the Council updated the list of countries, special administrative regions and other entities and territorial authorities for which travel restrictions should be lifted. In particular Jordan and Namibia were removed from the list.

During a joint meeting of senior officials on Wednesday in Brussels, the European Union and Ukraine held their ninth round of discussions on the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol.

وفي اليوم الدولي للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة هذا العام، تطلق اليونيسف ومنظمة العمل الدولية شراكة جديدة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي لتعزيز النظام الوطني للحماية الاجتماعية وإطلاق منحة وطنية جديدة للإعاقة من شأنها أن توفر دعما مادّياً مباشراً للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة الذين يعيشون في لبنان.


The economic depression Lebanon is facing has led to rapidly rising vulnerability and exacerbating inequalities. This is specifically the case for vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities.

On this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities, UNICEF and ILO partnered with the European Union to strengthen the national social protection system and launch a new national disability allowance that will provide direct income support to people with disabilities living in Lebanon.


Evropska komisija i visoki predstavnik za vanjske poslove i sigurnosnu politiku pokrenuli su Globalni Izlaz, novu evropsku strategiju za jačanje pametnih, čistih i sigurnih veza u digitalnom, energetskom i transportnom sektoru i jačanje zdravstvenih, obrazovnih i istraživačkih sistema širom svijeta.

The X High Level Dialogue on Human Rights between Brazil and the European Union took place on December 1st, 2021, in Brasília.

The Brazilian delegation was headed by the Secretary for National Sovereignty and Citizenship of Itamaraty, Ambassador Paulino Franco de Carvalho Neto. The EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Mr. Eamon Gilmore, co-chaired the Dialogue from the European side.

The Dialogue presented a renewed opportunity for a wide-ranging exchange of views on bilateral and multilateral issues related to human rights.
