In celebration of International Women's Day 2021, KAPAL Perempuan Institute launched a campaign entitled “Transforming Challenges into Strength: The Urgency of Gender Issues during COVID-19 Pandemic”. This campaign is supported by the European Union through the Active Citizens Building Solidarity and Resilience in Response to COVID-19 (ACTION) project.

Global cooperation and solidarity is paramount to effectively fight the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure early access to vaccines, diagnostics and treatments everywhere.

Brazzaville, Le 03 mars 2021 - Le Premier Clément Mouamba ministre salue le soutien apporté par la Banque européenne d’investissement à la transformation numérique et la mobilisation de 65 millions d’EUR à l’appui des investissements du secteur privé au Congo-Brazzaville et dans la région CEMAC.

Los siguientes miembros del Grupo Internacional de Contacto sobre Venezuela (GIC), Alemania, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, España, Francia, Italia, Países Bajos, Panamá, Portugal, República Dominicana, Suecia, la Unión Europea y Uruguay, rechazan la decisión del régimen venezolano que ha declarado persona non grata a la Jefa de Delegación de la Unión Europea.

Esta decisión es contraria al diálogo y respeto que deben prevalecer en las relaciones internacionales y sólo contribuirá a un mayor aislamiento internacional de Venezuela.

The following Members of the International Contact Group on Venezuela (ICG), Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Panama, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Uruguay, reject the decision of the Venezuelan regime to declare the Ambassador of the European Union persona non grata.

This decision is contrary to the dialogue and respect that should prevail in international relations and will only contribute to a greater international isolation of Venezuela.

One year after the formation of the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity, the EU takes positive note of recent announcements on transitional justice and the nomination of some of the local governments. Yet, too little progress has taken place and instability persists. The EU expects the South Sudanese Government to pursue and accelerate the implementation of the Peace Agreement.
