Exhibition 'Doing Time in Holot' at the Israel Museum

The EU Delegation to Israel in conjunction with the Hotline for Refugee and Migrants hosted a guided tour of the Exhibition 'Doing Time in Holot' at the Israel Museum on 5 April. Among the participants were diplomats, the UNHCR Representative to Israel, NGOs and representatives of the Ministry of Justice.

The European Commission has recently published a 9,5 million EUR Call for Proposals for "Mayors for Economic Growth" (EuropeAid/155272/DH/ACT/Multi) with deadline for applications 31 May 2017.

Entre os dias 17 e 28 de abril, especialistas em Orçamentação Sensível ao Género do Projeto para o Reforço das Competências Técnicas e Funcionais das Instituições Superiores de Controlo (ISC), Parlamentos Nacionais e Sociedade Civil para o controlo das finanças públicas nos PALOP e em Timor-Leste (Pro PALOP-TL ISC), estarão em Bissau para atividades de reforço das capacidades em matéria de análise e fiscalização das despesas públicas com enfoque no género.

Peacebuilding through Capacity Enhancement and Civic Engagement (PeaCE) programme has launched a Call for Concept Notes for the Peacebuilding Funds Opportunity. The PeaCE programme aims to re-engage Armenians and Azerbaijanis from geographic areas affected by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in peacebuilding activities, as well as revive the peacebuilding process within and between these societies. European Commission is contributing to the IUCN – Save our Species initiative with an initiative in support of African Wildlife and specifically focussing on conservation of Africa's large carnivores.

On Wednesday, 19 April 2017, Ambassador Samuel Žbogar, Head of the Delegation of the European Union, will visit the city of Negotino, as part of the "EU for YOU" campaign. The campaign has the objective to raise awareness and inform the public about the EU assistance in the country. In Negotino, the Ambassador will meet the Mayor Mr. Vanco Apostolov and visit EU funded projects.
