The State of Qatar is a monarchy ruled by the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani who has ruled since 2013. The European External Action Service (EEAS) and the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a Cooperation Arrangement in March 2018. This Cooperation Arrangement serves as basis for an enhanced political dialogue and strengthened cooperation on sectoral areas of mutual interest, notably private sector development and research and innovation. These are key areas for Qatar’s diversification efforts and the country's transformation agenda, contained in the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The Mid-term Review of the European Joint Strategy in support of Palestine 2017-2020 was commissioned by the European Commission and carried out by the consultancy firm GDSI end of 2019. The specific objective of the Mid-Term Review was to get an independent outside view whether the European Joint Strategy (EJS) in support of Palestine has been able to 'collectively address Palestinian development priorities and needs' and enabled European Development Partners (EDPs) to work collectively 'in support of Palestine's own planning'.

This week the EU has launched the EU Integrated Resolve 2020 (EU IR20), a complex crisis management exercise to enhance the EU’s ability to coordinate and respond to external conflicts and crises, with a focus on Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) planning processes and operational conduct in a hybrid threat environment.

Ce mercredi 23 septembre 2020, la Croix-Rouge burkinabè dans le cadre du projet « Prévention et Riposte d’urgence à l’épidémie Covid-19 dans les 45 provinces du Burkina Faso », financé par l’Union européenne, a remis un lot de matériel sanitaire au ministère de la santé du Burkina Faso. La Cheffe de la coopération, Pilar Palmero a représenté l’Ambassadeur Wolfram Vetter, Chef de la délégation de l’Union européenne au Burkina Faso au cérémonial de remise.
