The European Union called on Kosovo to revoke its decision to increase import tax on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a move described by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini’s Spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic as a violation of Kosovo’s obligations.

On July 7, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, who participates in the Central Asia-European Union interregional meeting, met with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Federica Mogherini in Bishkek.

В связи с запуском новой Стратегии ЕС по Центральной Азии, EUSR для Центральной Азии и EEAS при поддержке Европейской Комиссии (DG DEVCO) было организовано региональное мероприятие, Форум ЕС-Центральная Азия, 5-6 июля в Бишкеке, параллельно с 15-ой Министерской встречей ЕС и Центральной Азии.


In connection with the launch of the new EU Strategy on Central Asia, the EUSR for Central Asia and the EEAS, with support from the European Commission (DG DEVCO), was organised a regional event, the EU-Central Asia Forum, took place on July 5-6 in Bishkek, back-to-back with the 15th EU-Central Asia Ministerial Meeting.


The EU is active in a wide range of topics, from human rights to transport and trade. A list of topics which summarise what the EU does in a specific area, useful links to relevant bodies, laws and documents.
