EU Ambassador Sabathil visited and met the president  Sangjin Park and the Vice president Dohyon Kim of Samsun Electroics at their Seocho  HQ on  Friday 8 April.

Before the meeting, Ambassador visited and experienced Samsung's technology at the D'light.

Both party shared the importance of the Samsung's importance to the Korean economy and its contribution for the EU-ROK FTA, EU market perspectives and business strategies, Samsung's initiatives in Europe and its environmental policy.

The EU together with Kwale County health officials, United Nations agency UNICEF and other local project implementation partners reviewed the on-going nutrition programmes and priorities in Kwale County.

"Following the latest developments in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, in particular the preparations for the early parliamentary elections in June, I spoke this afternoon with the leader of SDSM Zoran Zaev. In the call that followed several other contacts by Commissioner Johannes Hahn and the EU Delegation in Skopje, we agreed on the need for all political parties to continue to work together to ensure credible elections, in the interest of the country and its citizens.

The High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini will travel to Jakarta on 8 April for a two-day visit focussing on EU-Indonesia and EU-ASEAN relations. The visit will provide an opportunity to discuss a range of bilateral issues, including enhanced political dialogue, cooperation in the security field and on countering radicalisation, advancing trade relations, protecting the environment and combatting climate change, as well as matters of regional and international importance such as the South China Sea and the Middle East.

The EU High Representative Federica Mogherini co chaired today in Addis Ababa the African Union and European Commission meeting (c2c) together with the president  of the AU, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. The meeting was attended by Commissioners Thyssen, Dombrovskis, Ansip, Mimica, Bulc and Stylianides.
