The European Union attaches the highest importance to cooperation with India in the area of clean energy and climate action. Both are working towards a clean energy transition, to become less dependent on energy import and to increase energy security, as well as the reliability and affordability of the energy supply.

The EU is keen on cooperating and coordinating with India at international and multilateral climate and energy fora to meet common objectives. We are both significant importers of energy, large economies and democratic societies.

The new EU Consensus on Development stressed the need to build partnerships around the world to help implement the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development, to develop innovative engagement through a broader range of cooperation, addressing the multiple dimensions of the pledge to 'leave no one behind'.

The internet and digital Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are transforming our world rapidly. Both the EU and India have set up their respective digital priority policies to harness the new services and networks so that they address global societal challenges, while supporting sustainable and inclusive growth.

2020-yilning 15-iyulida Yevropa Ittifoqi tomonidan moliyalashtiriladigan Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Adliya vazirligi, Yevropa Ittifoqi, Davlat xizmatlari agentligi va Oʻzbekistondagi BMTTDning “Oʻzbekistonning qishloq hududlarida davlat xizmatlarini taqdim etishni takomillashtirish va boshqaruv darajasini oshirish” qoʻshma loyihasi Oʻzbekiston Respublikasi Oliy Majlisi bilan hamkorlikda “KPIʼdan foydalangan holda mahalliy ijroiya hokimiyati organlari faoliyatining samaradorligini baholash” mavzusida onlayn prezentatsiya tashkil etdi.

15 июля 2020 года совместным проектом Агентства государственных услуг при Минитсерстве юстиции Республики Узбекистан и Программы развития ООН в Узбекистане «Совершенствование предоставления государственных услуг и повышение уровня управления в сельских районах Узбекистана», финансируемый Европейским Союзом совместно с Сенатом Олий Мажлиса Республики Узбекистан была организована он-лайн презентация на тему: “Оценка эффективности деятельности исполнительных органов власти на местах в Узбекистане с использованием KPI”.


On July 15, 2020, Joint Project of the Public Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice and the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan “Improved public service delivery and enhanced governance in rural Uzbekistan”, funded by the European Union and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized online presentation on the topic: “Evaluation of the effectiveness of local executive authorities in Uzbekistan using KPI”.

The EU and Germany are launching a new programme to support solid waste management in the refugee camps in Za’atari and Azraq, as well as in neighbouring host communities.

A faster and solid recovery relies on the empowerment of the youth. As the entire world suffers from the Covid-19 pandemic, developing regions are more exposed to its consequences. On the World Youth Skills Day, the EU acknowledges the importance of upskilling the youth to build a more prosperous future for all.
