On 7 August, the Election Commission reported that, in a national referendum, a large majority of the people of Thailand have voted in favour of the proposed constitution. During the campaign period, however, there were serious limitations to fundamental freedoms, including restrictions on debate and campaigning.

Lebih dari 160 mahasiswa Indonesia memperoleh beasiswa Erasmus+ (Erasmus Plus) dari Uni Eropa tahun ini. Para penerima beasiswa Erasmus+ ini akan menempuh studi tingkat S-1, S-2, S-3 dan pasca-doktoral di Eropa, baik untuk program gelar maupun non-gelar/ pertukaran, mulai tahun akademik 2016. Sebagian dari penerima beasiswa Erasmus+ akan menempuh pendidikan di dua perguruan tinggi (atau lebih) yang terletak di negara Eropa yang berbeda.

More than 160 Indonesian students have been awarded scholarships under the Erasmus+ (Erasmus Plus) Programme of the European Union (EU) this year. Soon students will travel to various EU Member States to undertake a Bachelor, Master, Doctorate or Post-Doctorate studies in Europe, either full degrees or short-term exchange programmes, for the academic year 2016. Some of the Erasmus+ awardees will study in at least two different universities located in two different European countries.

Short-term EU-observers arrive in Zambia

The EU Election Observation Mission reinforced its team with 56 of short-term observers ahead of election day. The short-term observers arrived on Friday to begin their training in Lusaka before being deployed all over Zambia. The Mission has been in Zambia since 29 June to observe all phases of the electoral process, and now has more than 100 observers in the country.

Erasmus Mundus Awardees 2016

More than 160 Indonesian students have been awarded scholarships under the Erasmus+ (Erasmus Plus) Programme of the European Union (EU) for the academic year 2016. During the award ceremony on 6 August 2016 in Jakarta, Mr Charles-Michel Geurts, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the EU Delegation, congratulated all scholarship awardees on their success in obtaining the Erasmus+ scholarships.
