Les lundi 26 et mardi 27 mars, la haute représentante de l'Union pour les affaires étrangères et la politique de sécurité et vice-présidente de la Commission européenne, Federica Mogherini, sera en Ouzbékistan où elle participera à la conférence de Tachkent consacrée à l'Afghanistan: "Processus de paix, coopération en matière de sécurité et connectivité régionale".

The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Arts Festival in Canada present a classical concert with jazz elements, dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. The musicians are  the grandsons and granddaughter of Prof. Pancho Vladigerov, the most prominent Bulgarian composer of all times (1899 –1978).

"No major government policy, from promoting sustainable security and peace, to achieving sustainable development and social justice, to protecting the world’s environment, to ensuring social resilience, inclusiveness, tolerance, fairness, and progress, can be achieved without the rule of law and human rights at its core," said EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, when he addressed the 37th session of the Human Rights Council, which took place in Geneva from 26 February to 23 March 2018.

23 March 2018 – Addis Ababa - The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the European Union (EU) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) today signed a €42 million agreement that will go towards IGAD’s peace and security programmes in the Horn of Africa region.
